    • Stay in the land and YHWH will build you up and not tear down
    • Don’t be afraid of the King of Babylon
    • I will save you
    • I will deliver you
    • I will show compassion
  • If you are disobedient
    • the sword you are afraid of will take you
    • famine will follow
    • pestilence  and no survivors

  • Stones placed in the brick terrace of Pharaoh’s palace.
  • YHWH will  set Nebuchadnezzar over these stones (metaphor)
  • YHWH will strike the land of Egypt
